Overview

Speed is a major risk factor in car accidents and is frequently cited as the leading cause of death and serious injury on the world's roads. The goal of Vision Zero is to end all traffic fatalities and serious injuries while promoting equitable, safe, and healthy mobility for everyone.


However, how can we make driving the most bearable? What can be done to make sure that this way of thinking permeates every choice made regarding our traffic system? Solutions include lowering speed limits, redesigning infrastructure, and utilizing technology to make all modes of transportation safer to travel on.
